In-Person Meditation Workshops & Courses, Devon.

Small groups. A real space. The kind of depth you can't find on a screen.

I curate groups of Souls who truly want to connect, expand, and see each other shine.

I want you to be full of Life. Sensation. Laughter. And most importantly…I want you to be full of the “Real”.

You will course-correct your life trajectory. You will deepen your presence. You will meet people who will open your heart and captivate yours.

And…I hear you ask…

  • How can I do all this without destabilising my life?

  • When I already feel over-stimulated?

  • When I am afraid of how things might look like on the other side?

Well, that is the magic I bring…

Helping you transform yourself in a way that is steady and incremental, simple yet revolutionary, peaceful but feisty!

I believe in you - and you’ll be surrounded by people who believe in each other.

Small-Group Meditation in the Heart of East Devon.

There is something that happens when a small group of people commit to stillness together in a real room.

The silence becomes collective. The quality of attention deepens. Something in the body, which has been braced against the noise of the world, begins to let go.

Oliver Jenkin has been leading in-person meditation workshops and courses in Devon for years, working from The Chapel in Budleigh Salterton, a quiet, beautiful space on the East Devon coast, within easy reach of Exeter, Exmouth, Sidmouth, and the surrounding area.

These are not drop-in classes. They are not corporate wellbeing sessions. They are intimate, committed, small-group experiences for people who are ready to do real work.

Why In-Person Meditation Works Differently.

Most people who come to these workshops have already tried meditating. They have used the apps. They have done the online courses. They understand the concept.

What they haven't experienced is what becomes possible in a room.

When you meditate alone, you are working against your own resistance with only your own resources. When you meditate as part of a small committed group which is guided, held, and building week by week, the depth available to you is genuinely different.

The group field does something that no amount of solo practice can replicate. Stillness becomes contagious. Permission becomes shared. The work gets traction.

This is why Oliver keeps his workshop groups small, never more than six, and why the people who attend keep coming back.

What to Expect from a Session with Oliver

Oliver's approach is grounded, direct, and free from spiritual pretence.

Sessions move through guided meditation, breathwork, and reflective practice. Each session builds on the last. Between sessions, Oliver sets exercises and practices to keep the work alive in daily life. The 1:1 element, included in longer courses, gives each participant space to work with what their specific experience is surfacing.

What you will not find here: performance, jargon, or the kind of surface-level wellness content that makes you feel briefly inspired and then nothing changes.

What you will find is a quiet, subtly sacred and warm environment in which your own experience is treated as the most important thing in the room.

Who These Workshops Are For

Oliver's in-person workshops in Devon attract people at a real turning point. Not necessarily a crisis, but a genuine readiness to live differently.

They tend to be people who:

  • have tried other approaches and found them useful, but incomplete

  • feel the gap between who they are and how they are living

  • want to go deeper than stress reduction or relaxation

  • are ready to commit to something properly, not dabble from a distance

These sessions are not for beginners in the sense that you need prior meditation experience, you really don't. They are for people who are serious about using the work to change something real.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need experience of meditation to attend?

No. Oliver works with both complete beginners and people with established practices. What matters is willingness, not experience.

How is this different to a mindfulness course?

Mindfulness courses, particularly the evidence-based 8-week MBCT programmes, are excellent for stress reduction and psychological wellbeing. Oliver's work goes further into self-awareness, identity, and the deeper question of how you want to live. The two can complement each other well.

How many people will be in the group?

Never more than six. This is a deliberate choice and central to how the work functions.

Where exactly is The Chapel?

In Budleigh Salterton, East Devon. Full address and directions are sent on booking.

Can I join a course that has already started?

No. The group dynamic builds week by week, and late joining disrupts that. All participants begin together.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is parking available at the venue.
