This session will get you from 100 back down to zero, by this I mean a neutral point of calm from which we can choose to go again. Sometimes it is better to stop than to continue pouring tea into the cup. Imagine your thoughts as the tea and your body as the cup. We can learn to empty out by coming to the present moment. This is as much biological as it is mental and this can offer relief as we slowly release and realise that our mind state can change. This is a subtle yet powerful mental shift.
Anxious thoughts can feel heavy & sticky at the best of times but after longer periods it can feel like our mental space is littered with cobwebs, as thought after thought has overlaid on top of each other. Mental habits & patterns form around repetition & reinforcement. When life feels challenging & circumstances are immediate we can feel overrun and there is very little time & space in these periods to find the rest we need. This session will press pause on your mental chatter and then you can decide what happens next.
First the body, then the mind, then the emotions. Making sense of our emotional world is extremely challenging when we don’t feel safe or connected to our bodies, minds, or the present moments. Emotions are slippery fish and we often need a real sense of stillness & presence to discover them unless they delude us and then it can be difficult to illuminate your true feelings and thus motivations. Let your “feeling” be known to you by surrendering to the sensations. You’ll learn to distinguish the difference between Emotion & Feeling.

We cannot make sense of much, communicate clearly or really “know” how we feel if we haven’t taken pause and allowed some time just to catch up with ourselves. It is easy to lose sight of reality when we feel anything but ourselves. By bringing your awareness back to the body - so much ease can be achieved! If you are struggling currently in your relationships this first port of call will undoubtedly bring you the calm you need to find the clarity you desire.

When we haven’t experienced the patterns, feelings & habits of co-operation for a while we can feel so on edge that it is hard for us to imagine anything but distress & conflict. You are fundamentally full of goodwill for all beings, this is so easily forgotten and causes us distress when we forget this. You want to be happy and you want this for others too.
