Mens' WorkI’m Oliver.
I work with men who show up for others, hold a lot together, and are beginning to feel the weight of that and are ready to start showing up for themselves.
I don’t advertise this work widely, and I don’t dress it up in promises or polished narratives.
What I offer is a grounded, practical way of working with your body, mind, emotions, and sense of direction so that life stops feeling like something you have to brace yourself against.
If you’ve found your way here, it’s likely through referral, or because someone close to you recognised something in you and thought this might be worth exploring. I’d suggest you take a moment to read what follows.
There are two simple questions below, with clear answers. If something in you recognises itself there, then watch the video beneath them and listen carefully. If there’s a pull, trust it and take the next step.
Nothing here is about convincing you. It’s about giving you enough clarity to decide.
This work is for you if…
You know something isn’t working anymore, and you are aware that something needs to change within you.
This work tends to land with men who recognise themselves in at least one of the following.
1. You’re outwardly functioning, inwardly stretched thin.
You’re showing up. You’re providing. You’re carrying responsibility. But underneath it all there’s fatigue, irritability, numbness, or a low-grade sense of bracing yourself against life. You’re not falling apart, but you’re not really in it either.
2. You’re tired of fighting yourself to feel better.
You’ve tried discipline, willpower, pushing through, or thinking your way out of it. You may even be good at those things. And yet the same patterns keep looping. This work is not about more self control. It’s about building enough internal coherence that effort stops being the only strategy.
3. You want depth without performance or spiritual theatre.
You’re not interested in being sold a new identity, language, or lifestyle. You want something grounded, embodied, and real. A way of working that respects your intelligence, your scepticism, and your lived experience as a man in the world.
Men usually find their way here not because things have exploded, but because the cost of not changing has quietly become too high.
1. The gap between who you are and how you’re living is widening.
You can feel the discrepancy. Between your values and your day to day life. Between what you know is possible and what you’re currently accessing. Ignoring that gap takes more energy than addressing it.
2. Your body is already giving you feedback.
Anxiety, exhaustion, low mood, compulsive habits, disrupted sleep, health niggles. These aren’t personal failures. They’re signals. And they don’t tend to resolve through insight alone.
3. Your relationships are asking more of you than coping allows.
Whether it’s your partner, your children, or the people who rely on you, you can sense that presence matters now more than performance. Steadiness matters more than effort. That shift doesn’t happen by accident.
Why Now?
How the work actually unfolds…
The first step is a single 90-minute session. This is always the starting point.
Before we meet, you’ll complete a detailed questionnaire. This isn’t admin. It’s part of the work. Writing honestly about where you are often begins the shift before we even speak.
That first session looks at the full picture. Physical health, mental patterns, emotional load, spiritual orientation, and relational dynamics. Not in abstraction, but in how they are actually playing out in your life right now.
From there, most men choose to continue into a 12 session course of work. This is not open ended support. It’s a clear commitment, a clear progression, and enough time to address patterns at the level they actually operate.
Around seventy percent of the men I work with choose this path because it allows real momentum to build rather than scratching at the surface.
What tends to work well…
This work is most effective for men who are willing to be honest, consistent, and engaged. You don’t need to have the right words. You don’t need to believe anything in advance. You do need to show up.
I’m not here to rescue you or motivate you with platitudes. My role is to stand alongside you, advocate for you when things are confusing, and help you build a way of living that feels sustainable, grounded, and genuinely alive.
It is also important to do the exercises you are set. These recommendations will be tailored to your needs and are designed to meet you exactly where you are and push you to take embodied action towards the life you want to lead.
When that happens, the changes ripple outward. Your relationships stabilise. Your body settles. Old interests return. Pressure lifts. Not because life becomes easy, but because you’re no longer fighting it from the inside.
That’s the work.
Everything else is detail.
I won’t promise you transformation, enlightenment, or a new version of yourself.
I won’t sell you an identity, a shortcut, or a story that bypasses the work.
What I will promise is this…
I will meet you where you are, without judgement, projection, or agenda. I will take you seriously, even in the places where you’ve stopped taking yourself seriously. I will bring clarity where things feel tangled, steadiness where things feel reactive, and honesty where avoidance has crept in unnoticed.
I will work with your body, not against it. I will respect your intelligence, your scepticism, and your lived experience as a man. I will help you build enough internal coherence that effort stops being your primary way of coping with life.
If you commit to the process, I will commit to you. Not as a motivator or a guru, but as a consistent advocate for the version of you that functions with more presence, less pressure, and greater integrity.
The aim is simple.
To help you feel more at home in yourself.
From there, everything else becomes more workable. From there, life becomes exciting for you in ways that were previously unimaginable.
That is what I want for you.
That is what the ones you love want for you.
That, my friend, is what I am here to help you achieve.
Oliver.

No Where To Go, No One To Be
This is one I made for myself when, honestly, I was struggling with all of the issues that I’ve mentioned to you above. Here you go…
Imagine not having to rush. Imagine not having to pretend. Imagine feeling welcome in each and every moment to take time to see what you might find within yourself. Imagine being kind with what you find in yourself - not judging - but accepting.
A new way of being is possible for you, one that rewards us with the treasures of experience that can be found when the pressure inside our minds is turned down - even just a little not.
